[Evolution] Unable to open browser when clicking on link in an email or on Summary page

In Evolution 1.2.3 under Debian 3 unstable, when I click on a link on
the summary page or in an email, nothing happens.
Before I upgraded it used to open a browser and show the appropriate web
page.
How can I fix this?
