[Evolution] [OT] Configuring spamassassin

I've noticed over the last few months that a lot of people on this list
use spamassassin in conjunction with evolution. I've just installed Red
Hat 9, and spamassassin is included, and---at least with the
installation option I chose---is installed and spamd starts at boot up
by default. I'm running postfix, and fetchmail pulls my mail in from
various places and drops it into postix's spool. The trouble is that
I've just gone through the documentation in
/usr/share/doc/spamassassin-2.44 and the spamassassin, spamd and spamc
man pages and there's nothing there on getting started with
spamassassin, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to how go about setting it
all up properly. I'm assuming that I may not even need to use
evolution's filtering to invoke spamc as presumably fetchmail, postfix,
and spamassassin are capable of interacting with one another without
evolution's intervention. I'd be very pleased to hear any advice any of
you have to offer - be it links to web pages or how you yourselves went
about it.

TIA, Darren
