[Evolution] New Appointment date format

Evolution defaults to the m/d/y date format. After receiving advice
here, I have replaced every occurrance of %m/%d/%y to %d/%m/%y in
e-time-utils.c, and recompiled. Tasklist now shows the date format I
like, i.e. d/m/y. But in the new appointment dialog box, the date format
is still m/d/y. How should I change that?
