I tried importing the address book from mozilla via the use of the ldif address book export facility in mozilla, then importing the ldif format address book into evolution. I strongly suspect it has lost numerous addresses from the list, but THERE IS NO WAY TO CHECK THIS FROM EVOLUTION AS THERE IS NO WAY TO GET A LISTING OF ALL THE ADDRESSES TOGETHER.
I looked at your last posting, thought: "I never had to go through all this when I went over to Evo from Netscape, all those years ago." I started to answer, but chucked it. I don't know what I did then to import my data any more. But it worked perfectly well. Now I bitch over not being able to export back to Mozilla. Now I see this posting. It just isn't true. Of course you can get a listing of all the addresses. In the normal Contacts screen, that's the default (yuk). In the LDAP screen you have to work a bit harder to realize it, that's true, but you can, if you work hard enough - of course you can. All of which makes me wonder which Evo version you got with your Red Hat 7.3. Not that it matters that much, this has all worked O.k. since Evo 1.0.0.
