[Evolution] stop expanding threads with new mail / collapse all threads

Hi all,

The threading feature for folders is great - but is has an annoying habit of expanding all thread with new mail - how do I stop this?  Or collapse all threads (although I would prefer to not have them expand in the first place).

Any ideas?
