[Evolution] downgrading from 1.2 to 1.0.8?

I "upgraded" evolution from 1.0.8 to 1.2 on a mandrake 8.2 system that
has been kept up to date using red-carpet.  Unfortunately, 1.2 is very
unstable for me and is unusable.

1. evolution-exchange-storage crashed after sending an email.
2. evolution-exchange-storage crashed when I click on the Calendar
folder.

I'm wondering if something got corrupted?

Is there a recipe for downgrading from 1.2 to 1.0.8?
