[Evolution] slow POP mail retrieval

Hey folks,

Using Evo 1.2 "Send & Receive - Retrieving POP summary" takes about 17
seconds - 15 seconds longer than the previous version of Evo.

Is this an Evo problem? Are there some settings which can be modified to
speed up the process?
