I don't really need a gui for gpg keys manipulation, but to sell my
customers the idea of using open sourced e-mail client, I need cutting
edge technologies. Same thing about the address books, I don't expect
anyone to convert from 1000+ Contacts in Outlook or Netscape to
Evolution that can't import these contacts. Same goes for calendar
information, tasks and so on.
I keep dealing with rpms simply for better order of things. Also can't
keep building the software on client's machines.
thanx for you help

would it work at all if it was linked to the wrong library ?
depends on how much the libraries differ
anyway.. I took it out and installed 1.0.3 instead. It all works now.
cool
Too bad it wasn't Debian, to allow easy downgrading :).
Do you know if there's going to be a news client in Evo soon ?
if you build Evolution yourself, you can actually get it to work mostly.
Except it doesn't support posting.
GPG key manipulation ?
why do you need a GUI for that? This won't be in 1.2 for sure, we are
feature frozen as of Monday.
ldif and wab import and export ?
Beats me, I know nothing about what goes on in the world of
addressbooks.
