Actually, I'd think that given the way the question was phrased, the
usual way of doing SOCKS would apply.  If you've got SOCKS installed,
just set the proper environmental variables before you launch evo...

As far as I know, there isn't any such thing as a mail proxy (at least
not in the sense of http proxies).
