Re: [Evolution] Error when sending a message

It sounds like your SMTP server has run out of resources?

Not sure though, thats what i'd interpret that to mean though.

It could also be a local resource issue, but if you have lots of free
disk in ~/, it shouldn't be.

Hi,

Since yesterday afternoon, when sending an email, I sometimes obtain the
following message :

Erreur durant "Expédition de "Subject of message""
Erreur réponse DATA : s'est terminé avec le signal Action demandée non
prise : système de stockage insuffisant : courrier non envoyé.

Which could translate as :

Error while "Sending of "Subject of message""
Error reply DATA : was terminated with signal Action requested not taken
: storage system insufficient : email not sent.

After some attempts (3-4 generally), the message finally goes through.

Is it an Evolution problem? But I have not updated any packages, rpm or
anything for a couple of days and Evolution was working normally when
sending messages (and in general too!).

Or a mail server problem? But I get the same error message when using
different email accounts on different servers.

A problem with my ISP?

And what is that "storage system" which the error message refers to?

Anyone has seen this before? Any clue?

Using Evolution 1.0.5 on Mandrake 8.1.

Thank you in advance!
