Hm, if you copy the addressbook.db file into the
~/evolution/local/Calendar folder of the other machine, that should
work.

On the other hand, if you want to copy it into a different folder (i.e.
not Calendar), you have to copy over the whole directory, with the
folder-metadata.xml file as well.  (Evolution will ignore the folder if
it doesn't have a metadata file.)
