[Evolution] Syncing Visor Neo doesn't work at all

This may be slightly off topic but this is completely annoying. I can
sync my Visor Neo flawlessly with both pilot-xfer and jpilot, but the
gnome control center pilot-link will never seemingly detect it. Has
anybody else successfully done this? I can't figure out what I'm doing
wrong and the documentation for it is aweful at best...
