[Evolution] Calendar resizes Evolution

I there are more than 30 entries in the calendar for one day (we use a shared calendar for employee vacation entries), and you open to the "day" or "week" view, Evolution resizes and I am not able to see all entries. It will not allow resizing until another day with less entries is selected. Quite odd. Evo 1.0 through 1.0.7 ..RedHat 7.2 w/gnome desktop on central X server.
