[Evolution] Mime Type question

I have been receiving mail that just shows an attachment of smime.p7m. 
Saving this attachment it appears as normal text when viewing with a
text editor.  I have tried to find an answer in the normal channels
(groups, google linux, etc), but to no avail.

Has anyone seen this before?  If so, is there a way to set a type to
show as text?
