Re: [Evolution] Problem with clickable links

Hi Guenther

Merry Christmas! My gnome-moz-remote says 1.4.1.2. I will try looking
for an update. I also tried working with different parameters in my
.gnome/Gnome file. I also sent an e-mail to the two addresses you
suggested. Thanks for all the help. Sorry for not cc'ing before, went
right over my head. Hope everything is going well. I will e-mail you if
I get the solution. Thanks again for your help.

Answer to question 1, no I can't start it from the console. I am
assuming you mean from an x-term window.

yep, of course...

Now here is a funny one. I put your url handlers in my Gnome file and
links open up, but it opens up the link as the source code for the web
page! Well, we are closer. Thanks for the help. Got any ideas?

Maybe an old or wrong gnome-moz-remote?

[guenther monkey guenther]$ gnome-moz-remote --version
Gnome gnome-moz-remote 1.4.2

Sorry, I am running out of ideas. Tested gnome-moz-remote with several
parameters, even double quoted, with always a good result.

IMHO you should try again in evolution ximian com, or maybe better
ximian-users ximian com or any gnome related mailing-list.

One last chance: For me the command
 % gnome-moz-remote --remote='openURL(www.gnome.org, new-tab)'
opens a new tab in an already running(!) mozilla.

Anyway, good luck getting that solved...
