I am new to this list.
Could any one point me the procedure to import my
mails/contacts/filters/virtual folders from my earlier Evolution to the
current.
The intelligent exporter doesnt detect my old settings. Is importing one
folder at a time is the only solution.
Red Hat 7.2 with *many* updates, a lot of them self-compiled, Evo not.
I don't remember how I originally installed Evo 1.0.0 on Red Hat 7.1. I
think with Red Carpet. I've never heard about the "Intelligent
Exporter."
I'm on 1.0.8 at the moment, and with a machine 2 generations later. But
I've found that (having cpiod the data directory from machine to machine
and installing the basic rpm and the necessary supporting libs has never
given me trouble -> 1.0.0 -> 1.0.2 -> 1.0.5 -> 1.0.8. Just 'rpm -Fvh
--nodeps --force' if it doesn't want to work at first and wonder if
you're killing your machine while you're doing it. I never have yet :-)
Best,
Tony

The usefulness of RTFM is vastly overrated.
