you can import a whole .ics file into evolution. You just have to select
File->Import on the evolution menu, and point to the .ics file you want
to import. If you just want to copy events between evolution calendar
folders, you can just use cut/copy/paste.

For exporting, I'm afraid the only way you've got is to export an
appointment at a time, via the 'Save As' menu in the appointment editor.
