[Evolution] display traditional chinese (Big5) font in evolution

Hello,

I am having trouble displaying big5 font in email
I received in evolution.

I have the following environment:

Mandrake 8.2
Evolution 1.0.2mdk
Gnome-Control-Center 1.5.11-10mdk
KDE 2.2.2

they are all 'stock' mandrake packages.

Notice that although I want to display email
written in chinese, my global environment
locale is still in en_US.


Even when I used gnome-control-center to set the font
to the big5 font, it doesn't work. Although changing
to other latin-1 font work. 

So I wonder if the problem is actually gtkhtml does
not handle big5 fonts when the default locale
is english?
