Yes, the pilot conduits do still have bugs. The best way to keep from
having your pilot data from being blown away is to use the gnome-pilot
backup conduit or the pilot-xfer command line tool:
pilot-xfer -p <port> -b <dir>
Known problems are:
1) Categories don't sync
2) Not all addressbook data is moved back and forth because there are
missing fields on in the addressbook and on the palm
3) on some peoples machines, deleting on the desktop does not delete on
the pilot.
