I thought release 0.12 was Beta 2 ? If not, how do I know which pre-release I am using ?
Anyway, I have been looking for a new version and can not find one here :
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/unstable/sources/evolution
nor here :
ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/source/evolution/
Can you tell me where I should go ? I am running Slackware, Window Maker.
Thanks to Eric for supporting the idea. Actually, as we are able to delete the mails, I don't see why we
could not just modify them (?). The option given by Eric sounds reasonable :
"If the MUA were to track and display something to the effect that the "original message has been modified",
I wouldn't mind... in fact that would be even better! ".
However, if Procmail can at least remove the footer I could be interested. Can you suggest a book or a web
site explaining this ?
Thanks,
Cyril

Please update to at least Beta 1. We have a Beta 3 version that
seems pretty stable.

First, I would like to congratulate the team for the great work done on
Evolution. This is really a nice tool. Thanks !
I have just a little question. I would like to change the subject and the
content of some messages are receive. Say to put a subject that will fit to my
mind and at least remove footer/signatures 10 lines long.
Can you tell me how I can do that ?
I am using the release 0.12.
