[Evolution] what's unmatched vfolder for?

Hi,

Perhaps a silly question, but what is the unmatched vfolder for?
What is it showing as unmatched? Ie, if I have 30 folders with
approx 300 mails in each and I have different vfolders across 
a couple of these folders but not some other folders, what is 
unmatched going to show me? Can I read up on it somewhere?
