[Evolution] Palm conduits and ISO 8859-2

Hello,
is it possible to configure Palm conduits so that they transfer Central
European characters correctly? I have ISO-8859-2 coding both on the Palm
and in Evolution but the characters are mangled (in both directions).
Otherwise synchronisation seems to work fine.
