    Ettore, another reason this should have been done with a rename operation,
    not as 'copy and delete'


  It is not actually doing a "copy and delete".  "Rename" is just
defined as ::xfer with a @remove arg set to %TRUE.  There is no copying
and deletion happening anywhere.
