I think this is the part that is correct. He's running OL2K on Win2K, and I'm running OL2K on Win98(win4lin). It works just fine for me, but for him it seems to be messed up, and it seems like it's file association, but we don't know where/how to unscrew his system. It may be that your boss has associated the .ics extension with WordPad, and that is overriding the iCalendar stuff in Outlook. I can't see any other reason why Outlook would open it in WordPad. Normally if it doesn't know what it is all you can do is save it to disk. Damon
