[Evolution] latest snapshot doesnt start

I installed the latest snapshot (evolution-0.99.1-snap.ximian.200111120857).
I have trouble starting evolution. This is the error message I get:

evolution: relocation error: /usr/lib/libevolution-importer.so.0: undefined symbol: stat

I also noticed that the package was roughly half its usual size.
Dont know if it has something to do with it.
