Free/busy info only defines the times at which a person is available. 
Currently you can save it to disk and then point the free/busy url in
the addressbook at it.  We hope to make this easier in the 1.0.x series.

What you may want to look at is the scheduling of meetings via email
(which you seem to have atleast looked at judging from the information
below).
