The root of the problem is in the conduits. I've included the
messages from two gpilotd sessions below. The first was successful
with no conduits enabled. Note there are still quite a few
error/warning messages. The second is what I get if any or all of the
conduits are enabled. After the last message appears there is a long
pause. Then my pilot times out and tells me the connection was
dropped. At that point I have to kill gpilotd and start it over (from
gnomecc).
This appears to a problem with with talking via corba to the pilot
daemon. What version of corba are you using? Did you compile with oaf
support in gnome-pilot?
