I am trying to download 1.4 and all the new stuff but I do not quite
have enough disk space to play with in /. Once the files are downloaded
a file seems to be written somewhere in / but I cannot find it. It is
this that is causing the barf as it fills that partition. I have /var
as a separate partition and that is fine. Can anyone help by telling me
where the file is written to so I can try and symlink the location
please before I lose what is left of my hair?
The packages are downloaded into /var/cache/redcarpet/packages by
default. On RPM systems the packages tend to take a fair amount of disk
space in /tmp during verification. Packages are then installed primarily
into /usr or /opt/gnome depending on your distribution.
