Yes, but when I select my search rule, the parameter window gets grayed
out. I want to be able to enter text there and have that be the text for
each subrule whose parameter is not explicitly specified in the rule
definition.

Body or Subject contains rule is a perfect example of what I am trying
to do (but with sender or recepient).
