[Evolution] Finding the disjoint between two folders

Hi,

I have 2 folders, one which contains an improper subset of the other (let's call them "super" and "sub", for short). In fact, the sub was created from the super and messages were copied into it, although sometimes moved into it instead of being copied. This has caused a situation where the sub folder contains some messages not in the super folder. All of this happened before I discovered what VFOLDERS were.

I would like to automatically (via filters/rules/...) describe the disjoint of the two folders. I.e, whatever exists in the sub folder that does not exist in the super folder. Then I want to automatically move those messages back to the super folder.

Now this may be complicated by the fact that the super folder is my Inbox, and the messages on in are from a POP account where Evolution has been instructed to leave messages on the server unless deleted locally. Is there a way to have those messages coming from the disjoint of the super and sub folders re-instated back on the POP server ?
