[Evolution] evolution 0.1 and support for Mandrake 8.0

I have been unsuccessful installing evolution-0.1 on my Mandrake 8.0
box, because of too many failed Gnome 1.4 dependencies -- even using the
Mandrake Cooker rpm..  

When is Ximian Gnome 1.4 going to support Mandrake 8.0? Support has been
advertised as
"coming soon" for quite some time now, and ximian postings to this
mailing list a month 
ago said it was in final testing. So ... when is it coming?
