Evolution uses gpg fine... you might need to re-setup your gpg within
Evolution because after 0.10, there were a few changes to the code and
the config code changed as well so it might be getting your PGP config
options wrong.

Will not save my password for the SMTP-AUTH. Well, correction, it will
temporarily until the application is killed/exited but on restart it will
need my password again for smtp-auth.


Tried to 'compose new email' > File > 'Save as' aquired an error (bug).
Program wouldn't allow a save as file.
