[Evolution] fcntl(2) problem

Using redhat 7.0, latest up2date, gnome latest updates. evolution jan
28.

i get an error message "Error while synchronizing folder, failed to
get lock using fcntl(2) no locks available"

I vaguely remember seeing a fix for this sometime back, but don't
remember what it was.

I've used killev and oaf-slay, they don't seem to help.
