Now that I am comparing the messages Evo gets with a backup copy, I'm
concluding that the problem is not that the messages disappear, but
rather that the folder display is not updated. If I leave Evo and come
back, the messages that I thought had disappeared are in the appropriate
folders. The problem only happens sometimes, and there are no obvious
error messages associated to it.
