[Evolution] editing problems in compose window (2001011921 snapshot)

When I reply to a message, all of the original message is quoted in the
compose window with <pre> format. Several problems:

1. There is no command to clear the compose window if I don't need the
quoted material
2. If I clear the quoted material be selecting it all and deleting, the
new text I enter is in <pre> rather than <normal> format (I have HTML
off).
3. The biggest problem: if the replied-to message is more than one
windowful, and I try to delete some of  it after typing some new text,
*all* of the text is deleted, including my new material. If I Undo a
couple of times, it comes back. What seems to be happening is that a
selection starting above the currently visible text is incorrectly
extended to span from the beginning of the compose text.

The good news is that 2001011921's email component is now very stable
for me, handling around 100M of my saved email without any problems.
