Evolution doesn't seem to properly display Danish letters. Where a

Ditto for Deutsch. Whenever someone sends a message containing the
umelaut (every message, hint hint) the character and remainder of the
line gets truncated. Talk about character prejudice.

This is supposed to be fixed in CVS... Is there anyone who was having
this problem in 0.8 who is now using the CVS version who can tell us
whether or not it's still happening for them?

for me (Spanish language) it's still happening since version 0.5 or so. Before,

the accents appeared as a ' followed by the vowel being "accented", but
since then, the rest of the line after a letter with accent disappear.
Although some friends of mine have told me that it works now for them,
since version preview release 7. They told me that you must define the
LANG and LANGUAGE environment variables to your preferred language
before launching evolution, but this has not worked for me, so I can't
say for sure if it works

But, does this have to do with evolution or with gtkhtml?

cheers
