[Evolution] importing a gnome-cal calendar

I would like to convert from gnome-cal to evolution for my appointments.

How do I tell evo to import .../gnome-cal.vcf ?

I understand that the importer is for cards but guessed that
``Open Calendar'' would do the trick.  In fact nothing happened.
