[Evolution] Fetching mails via Imap

Hi,

is it possible to pull mails from an Imap server to the local inbox
folder?

I need this feature because during the day at work i seek through my
personal mail account via Imap, mark some read or important and don't
want to loose these flags because of Pop3.

Is there a smarter way than trying fetchmail for this?
