Tried this...  No success. :-/  Thanks for the suggestion, though!

As for Luis's query as to whether this might be the same as bug
14566...  I went ahead and attached a stack dump to this message.  It
wasn't obvious to me (after looking at bug 14566) whether it was the
same or not.  If I should file a bug report, please let me know.
