i don't think i need this. i was running it from gkrellm (program with mail
check capabilities) and if it's run from there, when i click on it to run
the mail program, it uses the same view. but if i run evolution from the
command line, then run it from gkrellm, it opens a new instance.

anyway, i'm all set.
