[Evolution] IMAP hangs after forced disconnection.

I, like so many others, do not have access to a broadband connection.
So i am having to use a standard dialup connection. My ISP imposes a
forced disconnection every two hours.

I'm usually connected for about 14-16 hours a day with Evolution being
open the majority of that time to allow me access to emails as they come
in.

So i experience about 7 of these disconnections. If they happen while
Evolution is open i can not check my email once the connection is back
up. Evolution is set to check every 10 minutes and this no longer works
after a forced disconnection. A manual check also does not work, it
just hangs there.

In order to be able to check emails again i have to completely exit
Evolution and do a "killev".

Is this a known problem/does anyone else experience this? If so is
there a fix other than exiting and doing a "killev"? Will it be fixed
in the 1.0 release?

Obviously it would be better if Evolution could recover silently in the
background, as it's quite annoying to constantly check to see if the
connection has been dropped and reconnected without me noticing.

TIA
