Re: [Evolution] expressions

You can do this, but you'll have to read the source code to find out how
all the commands work and figure it out yourself for the moment.

Until either michael or I get around to writing docs on it, which will
doubtfully be any time soon.

Yep. But what about adding my own objects as criteria with their own
verbs and noun, such as folders ?
One of the things that I would like to say it "create a vfolder as the
set difference (or anitjoin) of folder X and folder Y".

Is there some XML file that defines these that I could edit ?

You mean (and ) and (or ) ? those would be some of the expressions you
can use.

Too bad. I was hoping for some kind of boolean combination of terms,
unlike the basic "any" or "all" criteria that is currently available.

Creetings,

Is there documentation on "expressions" for use as a criterion for
vfolders ? If not, could someone give a basic explanation ?

It allows you input the raw lisp-like sexps that Camel uses to drive its
filter logic. Basically you don't want to mess with them unless you
understand the relevant code in Camel... eventually there will be a
documentation of the available commands, but that's not exactly on the
front burner right now.
