1. Quit evolution
2. killev
3. cd ~/evolution/local/Contacts
4. file addressbook.db 
   Make sure that it is a Berkeley DB 1.xx version
5. mv addressbook.db addressbook.db.bak
6. db_dump185 addressbook.db.bak |db_load addressbook.db

And you should be all set.
