[Evolution] Am not receiving new mail ! How can I reset ?

Because Evo wasn't deleting mail on the POP server, I went to my web 
mail and deleted a bunch of mail from the web interface.

Now Evo is not finding new mail !!! How can I reset  ? Should I delete 
the ibex files in the ~/evolution/mail/... directories ? I don't want to 
have to start using mozilla !!!

(Am running the 0.12 version from Mandrake Cooker. Should I get the 
0.12.99 RH7.1 snap ?)
