Adding this would be possible in theory, but performance could be a
problem.  Pulling down all of the contacts that potentially match the
character 's' could get ugly if the source is an LDAP server with
zillions of addresses on it. :)

That being said, the whole completion framework is designed to be
totally asynchronous and to be able to work with "slow"
completion-option generation --- so it isn't at all out of the question.
But it would take some work.
