I've found a couple of issues with the contact manager, related to
contact lists.
First, if you create a list and then double-click on it to edit it,
adding a new entry to the list does not seem to toggle the 'edit' flag -
so the save and close button, and the associated menu items, are
disabled. Modifying the name of the card enables the buttons - but
sometimes causes duplicate entries to be created. This has been going
on for at least a week, but probably a little longer.
Second, as of today's snapshot (7/31), deleting and modifying no longer
seem to work. The error that is returned is:
Error Removing Card: Card not Found
OR
Error Modifying List: Card not Found
Also, a couple of times I have found duplicate entries, but when I
delete the duplicates, both entries are gone. Since the VCards are
exact duplicates, I can see why this happens - but obviously its not a
good thing. The duplicates seemed to appear after I upgraded to a
snapshot a couple of weeks ago. I can't even tell you which one. If it
happens again I'll get more information. At the time I assumed that it
was part of the fix contact database problems and wouldn't appear again.
