[Evolution] Cannot initialize the Evolution shell

Hi,
I have a similar problem as david virtual simscomputing com
I have the very latest Ximian Gnome 1.4 and Red Carpet 1.0.with the
Evolution from the snapshot channel on an up to date Debian Potato.
I am getting also "Cannot initialize the Evolution shell." when I try to
start Evolution, even without any error message on the console.
Any ideas ?
