[Evolution] Imap copy?

Hi,

Why does Evolution make the same mistake like Outlook and makes
a local copy of all messages on the IMAP account? The meaning
of IMAP is that your messages remain on the Server and are not
stored on two different places. Is there an option to disable this?

Think about an enterprise environment with many users and the huge
increase of stored data when each message is stored on the IMAP 
server and on the mounted home directory of each user.
