But on latest snapshots you can forward inline: Actions > Forward As...

It's still not going to change.  If you want to reply to a message,
reply to it, that isn't forwarding.

He's *not* talking about REPLYING to the SENDER of the message. He's
talking about FORWARDing to someone else, with his own comments
interspersed among the original text.
