No, the image was NOT included in that message. The message only
referenced the image which i actually located on a server on the
internet somewhere. GtkHTML currently does not fetch images/etc from the
internet.
Jeff
Probably the images are not included with the message, but should be
downloaded from a site on the Internet. Evolution doesn't download those
(yet).
I thought i should give an example:
In one message that i have here there is this piece of html:
<IMG alt=3D"Dr. Dobb's Linux Digest" border=3D=
0 height=3D47=20
src=3D"http://www.ddj.com/maillists/images/ldheader.gif" width=3D273
NOSAVE=
Later on the same message there is the following:
</BODY></HTML>
------=_NextPart_001_0078_01C006D4.2EFF71A0--
------=_NextPart_000_0077_01C006D4.2EFF71A0
Content-Type: image/gif; name="ldheader.gif"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Location: http://www.ddj.com/maillists/images/ldheader.gif
R0lGODlhEQEvANUAAP////zv7+/v7/nf39/f3/XPz/K/v8zMzO+vr7+/v+yfn6+vr+mPj+aAgJmZ
Now I'm no expert, but the fact is that the image is there, I just don't
know how the mailer is supposed to interpret all the content*.
This is not a rant! Hopefully it will help you to turn evolution into
"THE" mailer
See y'a
